Connecting people with dance and music…

Over twenty years ago, a group of people founded the Brattleboro Dawn Dance.  It starts off with a three hour English Country Dance in the afternoon and continues with a eleven hour Contra Dance into the next morning.  It happens now, only twice a years on Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.  There is no doubt, it’s a special event.  The upcoming lineup for the Contra Dance will be Kathy Anderson with Notorious, Nils Fredland with Wild Asparagus, and for the last shift, the “Milk Run Shift”, I will take the stage with Nor’easter, Cedar Stanistreet, Max Newman, and Julie Vallimont with special guest Sam Amidon.  We are ready to rock out!!  So be there!!  For more information, please check out the Brattleboro Dawn Dance website www.dawndance.org.
